Class C / C1
So that you can get an exact picture of how our intensive HGV training works, we will show you an example of a possible training plan in the next step. The actual duration and schedule will of course depend on your personal requirements, your previous knowledge and the type of driver’s license you want. We will coordinate everything with you individually – so that you can obtain your category C driving license efficiently, purposefully and without unnecessary stress.
By the way: Our driving school is AZAV-certified – this means that our truck training is eligible for funding according to § 81 SGB III, depending on the requirements. Funding is therefore possible through an education voucher from the employment agency, the job center or other institutions such as pension insurance. If you have any questions about funding, we will be happy to advise you personally and support you with the application process if you wish.
The cost of a truck driver’s license (category C) depends on your starting position and the actual number of driving hours required. To give you an initial indication, we show you a realistic price example here. We will be happy to put together an individual offer for you in a personal consultation.
During your intensive truck training, you can use the driving simulator at our driving school in Krefeld free of charge. You can practise basic skills completely stress-free, without being exposed to the pressure of real road traffic. This addition can also have a positive effect on the number of driving lessons – because everything you have already learned on the simulator only needs to be perfected in the truck.
The price example includes the basic amount (€1,400.00), online access teaching materials (€69.00), 10 driving lessons (€104.00 each), 10 special drives (€104.00 each), theory test presentation €99.00, practical test presentation €519.00. According to the law, a different number of special trips must be completed depending on the training class and previous driving license possession. Note: Each additional 45-minute driving lesson costs €104.00.
In addition, there are external costs (e.g. road traffic office, TÜV, first aid course, etc.) amounting to approx. 380.00 €.

As a recognized, certified training provider, we offer you the opportunity to receive state funding for your training as a truck or bus driver – for example via an education voucher from the employment agency or job center. German pension insurance, the BALM and the Federal Armed Forces Vocational Training Service also support the acquisition of a driving license under certain conditions.
We will be happy to advise you personally on suitable funding programs and help you with the application process.
The most important truck driver’s license categories are C1 and C.
Category C1: Allows you to drive motor vehicles with a maximum permissible mass of more than 3,500 kg up to a maximum of 7,500 kg. A trailer with a maximum permissible mass of up to 750 kg may be carried.
Category C: Allows you to drive motor vehicles with a maximum permissible mass of more than 3,500 kg without an upper limit. A trailer with a maximum permissible mass of up to 750 kg may be carried.
