Your B96 driver training in just one day

Would you like to tow a trailer with your car that is slightly heavier than what is permitted with a normal category B driving license? Then the B96 driving license might be just the thing for you! With the key number B96, you can drive vehicle combinations with a permissible total weight of up to 4,250 kg – ideal for caravans, horse trailers, boat trailers or loaded transport trailers.

The big advantage: you don’t need a theoretical or practical test at the TÜV for B96. Instead, we offer a compact driver training course that you can complete in just one day – and that’s exactly what we are the right partner for in Krefeld and Meerbusch.

Registration

All you need to register with us is a valid class B driving license. To register, you can simply write to us or drop by our branch. You can either find the next dates on this website – or we will let you know the next available dates spontaneously when you register.

Theory training (approx. 2.5 hours)

To start with, you will receive an introduction to all the important basics: legal requirements, safe loading, driving behavior with trailers and typical dangerous situations. We provide the materials – you don’t need any preparation.

Practical exercises (at least 3.5 hours)

On the training ground, you will practice maneuvers such as manoeuvring, reversing, hill starts and braking exercises with your driving instructor. You will learn how to move the trailer safely and in a controlled manner.

Driving in real traffic

When you feel confident, you drive on public roads. You will put what you have learned into practice under real conditions – under the guidance of your driving instructor, of course.
