Afraid of driving? Quite normal.

Driving license for anxiety students

For all those who feel insecure

Learning to drive with confidence

Do you feel uneasy at the thought of driving or are you afraid of the driving test? You are not alone. Many people struggle with similar worries – and we know how we can support you.

Over the years, our driving instructors have experienced many different fears – from mild uncertainty to pronounced driving anxiety. They treat you with understanding, empathy and an open ear. With us, you don’t have to be ashamed of your feelings. It often becomes easier if you talk openly about what is blocking you.

Fear is rarely logical. Even if you are objectively well prepared, you can still be overcome by an oppressive feeling – especially when it counts. We help you to regain your inner calm and build confidence in yourself and your abilities. For this to succeed, a trusting relationship is the basis. We want you to feel at home with us. That’s why we invite you to get to know us in advance – without any pressure. This way you can find out whether the chemistry between you and your future driving instructor is right.

How to conquer your exam nerves

Well prepared is half the battle

The more specifically you practise, the more confident you will feel. We specifically train the situations that are particularly difficult for you - until you can master them with confidence.

Anticipating success in your head

Imagine yourself calmly and confidently getting through the exam. This mental preparation technique can boost your self-confidence and calm your nervous system.

Sleep soundly

A well-rested brain can cope better with stress. Plan your rest time consciously - especially the evening before the exam.

Choose your date wisely

Avoid time pressure. Choose an exam day that gives you enough time to prepare and does not clash with other stressful appointments.

No human being is perfect

Small mistakes are part of it. The important thing is that you drive safely and responsibly. Relaxation often helps more than perfectionism.

Talk to us

Tell your driving instructor openly what is worrying you. You'll find that understanding and support can take a big load off your shoulders

Know the route - avoid uncertainty

We ride the test routes together in advance. That way you know what to expect - which reduces surprises and gives you security.

Calm start to the day

Plan your time so that you arrive at the exam relaxed. Leave your cell phone in flight mode and create a quiet atmosphere to help you focus.

Your examiner means you no harm

Even if they decide whether you pass or fail - examiners are not enemies. Say calmly that you are nervous - that shows honesty. Many react with understanding and deliberately make the start of the exam calm.
